Janie is recognized as one of the best traveling acoustic guitar cover artists for small venues nationwide as a singer/guitarist.  Janie covers a wide variety of genres including The Beatles, classic rock, soft rock, and yacht rock.  

     Janie travels in her RV and loves to share her music with people across the country!  

     Born and raised in southern Michigan, Janie began her music journey tinkering on a home piano.  She played French horn in church choir, orchestra, symphony band, marching band, and jazz brass ensemble all the way through high school.  She earned several awards at local and state competitions, including a scholarship to Interlochen Center for the Arts, in Traverse City, Michigan.  

      Guitar has been her true love for over 40 years.  As a classical guitarist she performed social hours and weddings.  In her duet called “Black Cats” she performed at local festivals.  She worked for Audrey’s Angels providing live performances of The Beatles and soft rock, 4-5 days a week, for several years.  Janie is Suzuki certified to teach classical guitar. 

     Most recently, Janie studied audio technologies at Maricopa Community Colleges in Arizona and enjoys creating electronic digital music.  

     Janie is truly an artist to add a delightful ambience to any small venue!
